Roma Inclusion

The workshops are available in English and Hungarian.

The decades-long absence of Romani workers from the labor market and companies' DEI strategy suggest serious structural obstacles. One such hindering factor is typically direct and indirect discrimination against the target group, an attitude influenced by prejudices and negative stereotypes. The workshop aims to explore the emotional background of prejudices by analyzing the most common stereotypical misconceptions and myths. During the workshop, we provide credible, factual information, examples and tasks to dispel the most common prejudices about Romani people. We also unpack the concept of allyship: how you can support the Romani communities, individually and at the community level. Finally, we discuss the steps and possible strategies for creating an inclusive workplace environment.
